A modest renovation on a tight budget, CHAATRIK Architecture managed to bring new life to this historic, abandoned two-story, three-bedroom residence. We opened up the kitchen to bring an open plan concept to the main level and brighten the primary living space. Emploring care to salvage existing hidden gems throughout the house, our design team managed to bring a fresh palette of materials and highlight the best parts of this house. The main living room wall was completely refurbished to enhance the cove ceiling and create a new feature wall with custom hardwood paneling. A new bathroom was added on the lower level with a contemporary look and feel. Despite the limit funds, every inch of this house was carefully considered to significantly increase the overall value of the house.
